BIM DAY 2026
BIM DAY 2026 is behind us. Two days of talks, conversations and meetings with people from across the construction industry. We were there with our own presentation and a stand.
On 20 and 21 October, this year's BIM DAY took place at the OREA Hotel Pyramida in Prague. It is the traditional autumn conference on building information modelling in the Czech Republic, and for us it is the ideal place to meet. We design every project in BIM, so this is where we find exactly the people we later share a model with: architects, designers, BIM coordinators and investors.
This year, we also gave a presentation. On the first day, 20 October, Luboš Prüger and Jan Macháček spoke about why foodservice is an important part of the whole project and why decisions about it need to be made at the study stage. A foodservice operation is not an island within a building. It is connected to ventilation, drainage, electrical loads, deliveries and the structure, and every late decision then ripples through the entire project. We also showed how we work with this in practice in BIM and with our own tools for Revit.
Anyone who wanted to see more could continue at our stand, no. 13. All it took was putting on a VR headset to walk through our projects before they are built. Walking through a kitchen that does not exist yet is an experience no drawing can replace.
Above all, it was a chance to meet our team. To discuss a specific project, ask when to bring foodservice design into it, or simply talk about what challenges you face in practice. Conversations like these are exactly why BIM DAY is worth attending.
Thank you to everyone who came to our presentation or stopped by our stand, and to the organisers for a superbly prepared conference. See you at BIM DAY again next year!
